The PRECISION ionisation system is specially designed to be used in high-tech applications and meets the stringent ESD requirements. The units comply with IEC 61340-5-1: 2016, with a residual charge (ionic balance) <of 35 V. The compact ionisation system includes an integrated HV power supply and a dedicated control unit with LED status display and control station signal to indicate the operating status. The high-frequency technology ensures optimally adapted discharge performance.
The PRECISION ionisation electrodes generate positive and negative ions, which are transported via an integrated blowing nozzle; the ionised airstream then neutralises any charges present on ESD-sensitive components. The high-voltage power supply and monitoring system are built in to enable space-saving and easy system integration.
