Cleaning of washing machine drums
Applications: moulded parts, drums, tubs, containers, white goods
Initial situation
Contaminating particles may be produced in the cleaning space of the machine during the production of washing machines. These must be removed before delivery to the end customer.
Solution
A special cleaning head is built from individual components. It consists of TAIFUN‑CLEAN® rotating nozzles, STATIK‑AIR® multi-jet nozzles, high voltage supply and compressed air control AIR CONTROL. This cleaning head is immersed in the washing machine drum for cleaning. Electrostatic charges between the component and any contamination are eliminated and any existing particles are loosened and whirled up with the help of integrated STATIK‑AIR® wide-beam and rotating nozzles. These particles are fed to the ESUC suction and supply unit via a suction port located on the rear of the drum. The high voltage supply and compressed air controls are attached to the cleaning head, to ensure the proper rotation of the cleaning head.
