LLC cleaning in logistics

Initial situation
Disrupting particles accumulate on the surfaces and inside the containers, which can then be carried onto product or into the subsequent processes. Currently containers are being washed regularly to ensure their cleanliness. Washing them is time and cost intensive.
Solution
The logistics area is equipped with a cleaning system for the LLC containers. It accomplishes a thorough all-around, touchless cleaning using the TAIFUN‑CLEAN® system. Dust and foreign particles are loosened with ionised compressed air using rotating nozzles, taken up by a concentrated suction airstream, and fed into a KIST + ESCHERICH suction and filter unit. The necessity of washing the LLCs has been greatly reduced by using the touchless cleaning system. The systems can be configured for different container dimensions. The cleaning process covers the outsides of containers and / or the inside as well. The cleaning system can be used inline as well as offline. If an inline system is used, the connections are made to the upstream and downstream systems. The option of individual solutions for coupling to a manufacturing execution system (MES) is available.
