Cleaning of glass fibre fabrics and glass yarn

Initial situation
On a glass fibre roll you may find particles from case abrasions, ash and metal residues, adhesive tape remnants, filaments and crystals from dye deposits. These residues contaminate the surface and will lead to customer complaints.
Solution
Cleaning of the glass fibre with a rotating brush is required. Ionization bars eliminate electrostatic adhesion forces, rotating brushes detect adhering contaminants and feed them via a homogeneous suction stream into the filter of the ESUC/ESCA suction unit. Support rollers have been added at the intake and outlet of the ROTORCLEAN to stabilize the sensitive fabric webs. The unit is mounted to a designated frame on the floor using a specially designed traverse rail. The brush rotary speed of the cleaning system is set by the production line system. The ROTORCLEAN switchgear is mounted on its own frame next to the cleaning device. The ESUC suction and supply unit is located on the platform above the cleaning system.
