Cleaning the inside of containers/ampoules
Application: cleaning the inside of containers, bottles, preforms, ampoules

Initial situation
Surfaces of containers can become electrostatically charged due to separation energies (e.g., friction during handling), whereby particles are attracted to each other and may adhere to each other. These foreign particles may adhere to hard-to-reach material surfaces such as the inside of containers, plastic bottles or ampoules. This particle contamination must be removed before filling the containers.
Solution
The inside of the container is cleaned with the STATIK‑AIR‑PIN needle ionizer, supported by compressed air and suction (optional). The containers are placed on a rotating system, with the openings positioned under a suction unit. The needle ionizer is lowered via a Z-hub. Then the needle is inserted through the suction device and the opening to just before the bottom of the container. Compressed air, enriched with positive and negative ions, streams from a nozzle and eliminates any surfaces charge. Loosened particles are pushed upward by the airflow along the walls to the opening. A special design head with homogeneous suction stream takes up
