Cleaning of stamping grid belts before overmoulding
Application: stamping grid, endless carrier belt, strip moulding, reel-to-reel production (R2R)
Initial situation
In the manufacture of stamping grids, when stamping and bending, flakes are produced in the inner and outer radii. These residues must be removed before further extrusion takes place.
Solution
Two opposing located cleaning systems of the type TAIFUN‑CLEAN are installed as cleaning tunnel. To assure optimal guidance of the output air with the whirled-up residues, cleaning heads TAIFUN‑CLEAN are installed on the exit side with fitted housing (air guidance panels). Integrated ionization electrodes neutralize electrostatic charges on the material surface, while at the same time a turbulent airstream from the rotating nozzles loosens interfering particles from the stamping grids. The customer should provide a reliable guide for the stamping grid.
