Technical cleanliness begins with validated testing

The sample quantity required depends on the type and nature of the components and needs to be coordinated with your contact person in advance. The following applies:

• Samples should be taken with gloved hands from normal production runs and packed in clean PE bags.
• In addition, please send:
  • Reference samples from the same batch (cleaned & uncleaned parts).
  • 1–2 representative samples and possibly a dust sample.
• Please coordinate the quantity and type for bulk goods or web materials individually.

Careful packaging is crucial for contamination-free analysis:

• Use clean PE bags – cardboard boxes are not suitable as direct packaging.
• Package the components so that as few particles as possible can break off during transport.
• Avoid direct contact between the parts – use filling material or individual packaging.

Please include the following information with your samples:

• Project name
• Sample or component designation or component number
• Your contact details and the name of your contact person

Processing time varies depending on the scope of testing and is coordinated with your contact person in advance. All tests are conducted as efficiently as possible and will be kept strictly confidential.

Yes! You are cordially invited to accompany the tests in person. This allows you to follow the process directly and coordinate adjustments with our team as needed.

The analysis is based on your requirements and the material properties. Frequently used procedures include:

• Particle analysis (microscopy, automatic counting devices)
• Visual inspections under special lighting conditions
• Cleanliness tests according to VDA 19
• Weighing & filtration when suction is complete to determine the mass of contaminants

Upon completion of the tests, you will receive the samples back unless otherwise agreed. Alternatively, they can be archived or properly disposed of. The test results are documented and made available to you.

The knowledge gained will serve as the basis for developing or optimising your cleaning process solution. Our team supports you in integrating the tested procedures into your production process – from selecting the technology to the implementation in your plant layout.
