With three teams and a total of twelve runners, KIST + ESCHERICH once again took part in the REWE Team Challenge in Dresden this year. Under perfect weather conditions and in a fantastic atmosphere, our employees joined around 32,000 participants on the 5-kilometer course, representing the company with great commitment and enthusiasm.
The REWE Team Challenge is one of Germany’s largest corporate running events, bringing together companies, associations, and organizations from across the region each year. For KIST + ESCHERICH, the focus was once again on sporting ambition, teamwork, and strengthening relationships beyond the everyday work environment.
One of the standout performances came from Thomas Buch of Team “Klettschuh.” He completed the 5-kilometer course in an impressive 18:58 minutes, securing 159th place out of approximately 32,000 runners. His result reflects both the high level of commitment and the competitive spirit with which the KIST + ESCHERICH teams approached the event.
Beyond the sporting achievements, the support from colleagues along the route created a truly special atmosphere. With enthusiastic cheers and applause, they encouraged the runners throughout the course and contributed significantly to the positive team experience.
“For us, the Team Challenge is much more than just a running event. It is an opportunity to strengthen team spirit, stay active together, and represent our company outside the workplace,” was the shared conclusion of the participants.
KIST + ESCHERICH would like to thank all runners as well as the colleagues who supported the teams on site. We are already looking forward to taking part again next year.
