Dresden, January 2023 – At the end of 2022, the hyJOIN® TECH Center successfully completed a significant expansion of its plant technology. A powerful coreSUPPLY® power supply unit with two 30 kW generators and the innovative coreJOIN® joining module were added. These technologies expand the possibilities of the TECH Center and enable the precise processing of complex workpieces.
The new joining module is mounted on a heavy-duty C-bar, which enables the machining of components with large dimensions such as multi-material seat structures, housings or sandwich structures for battery modules. This extension ensures that the hyJOIN® TECH Center is able to produce even more complex prototypes applying the innovative hyJOIN® technology.
This new system technology in the TECH Center is setting a further milestone in thermal direct joining technology for metal-plastic joints and strengthens our position as a leading provider of custom-made solutions. Customers now benefit from an even wider range of possibilities for implementing their product innovations and demonstrating the suitability of this connection technology for a variety of different applications.
