Cleaning of loaded workpiece carriers

Initial situation
Parts and assemblies of various types are placed on workpiece carriers and run through processing and testing stations in assembly lines. Screwing and cutting process can generate particles, which could prove to negatively affect the downline processing steps or the function and quality of the products. Furthermore, particles contaminate the workpiece carriers and disrupt work processes.
Solution
Cleaning the assemblies during the run through process using TAIFUN‑CLEAN. Ionization electrodes reduce electrostatic charges on insulating plastic surfaces, rotating nozzles create a non-contact, pulsating compressed air vortex, which releases potentially disruptive particles from the surfaces. An enclosure that is adapted to the components enables a predefined air stream, whereby the swirled-up impurities are fed to the ESUC/ESCA supply unit via an integrated suction channel.
